HALDER
Architecture
Wayfinding system for a converted textile mill

OVERVIEW
Signs that respect the building
Halder keeps the mill's own vocabulary — raw brick, steel truss, painted floor numbers — and adds only what is missing. Signage is powder-coated steel in one industrial yellow, hung from existing beams rather than fixed to walls. Numerals are oversized; words are rare. The building stays the loudest thing in the room.

SOLUTION
Fewer wrong turns. Nothing drilled into brick.
Floor-level colour bands and a strict numbering logic let visitors orient before they read anything. Every fixture clamps to existing structure, so tenants can reconfigure units without patching heritage brick, and new studio names swap in as printed inserts instead of new fabrication.
